Attention Best Buy Shoppers...

Yesterday, one of my favorite movies came out on DVD. Pride and Prejudice (the version with Kiera Knightly) was a beautiful portrayl of Jane Austen's novel, which I have read. When this version came out in the movie theaters, I went to see it, and then, my sweet, sweet dog Daisy bought the PBS original series on DVD for Christmas. Isn't she sweet? She always knows just what I want.

Anyway...this movie is beautiful and feminine in every sense of the word. When I went to see it in the theater, with a best friend, of course, there were many sighs and giggles, and a few tears towards the end. Girly-girly-girl...

So, when I found out it was coming to DVD, I knew I had to rush out and buy it. Though my birthday is right around the corner, I can't wait for my beloved Daisy to buy it for me. I had to go buy it last night. When I went to Target, they were sold slap-out. So I had to go to Best Buy.

Well, at Best Buy, I couldn't find it, because I can never find anything there, and it's always a humbling experience, because I hate to ask for help. Hate it. Well, the person that I asked couldn't find it, so she had to go ask someone else, and then they had to go ask someone else, and that person yelled across the store "Hey, where do we have the Pride and Prejudice DVD's?" I felt like an idiot, which I do frequently. Why didn't they just get over the loud speaker and say:

"Attention Best Buy shoppers. We have a single, lonely female on aisle 4 looking for an extreme chick flick so she can go home and cry to her dog that she just hasn't met her Mr. Darcy"

So I went home with my extreme chick flick and snuggled up with my dog and swooned over Mr. Darcy...
