My Present

I am in love with a new group called Band of Horses. I heard one of their songs in a tv show, and immediately googled and downloaded it. And I listen to it. Over. and over. and over. Multiple times a moment. It haunts me. It is haunting. And I listen to it over and over and sing to it while my kids are working and they giggle at me, but I can't help it.

It's called "No One's Gonna Love You"
Here's the parts of it I love:

I just saw a commercial for the new CSI season, and they were playing a song in the background, and yes. It was by Band of Horses. And I could identify it because their sound is so unique right now.

AND...the new movie that opens up this weekend that I have to go see...Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist...well, one of the songs on it is by Band of Horses. I'm totally smitten.

Even better...I have a new project that I am starting, and I'm actually pretty excited about it. It's short and small and simple, which is about all I can handle right now, but I haven't really done any projects for myself, and this is one that I can do and easily handle. Of course I'll turn the project into a list of some sort, because that's what I'm all about. And I'll put up pictures when I finish. Which will hopefully be this weekend.

Now I'm off to grade papers and watch a rerun of my favoritest new tv show, True Blood, which is a blog post in itself...
