Busy day today, with an evening birthday celebration to prepare for, so I have very limited time today. And I've already broken one Christmas present I bought, ruined another one I was making, and tripped over a cord, ripping both the cord, the cover, and part of the outlet out of the wall. So, yeah. Um. Yeah.
In the crazy cleaning of the apartment, I found an old CD with even older pictures on it. So, here's a little trip down memory lane for your viewing pleasure.
Here's a picture of me one of the more recent times I decided to have bangs. I don't know why I decide to cut bangs. I never know what to do with them.
I was at a camp retreat weekend when this was taken. You can tell by how tired I look. Looking at this picture reminds me of how big I think my nose is.
Here I was in college. I don't remember being this cute. Or wearing skirts that short. But I guess there's photographic evidence that I was. I remember this date function vividly. There was a boy on it and I was SO in love with him. He was with one of my sorority sisters, and they were just friends because he had an on-again, off-again girlfriend. I totally thought that guy hung the moon. One of his fraternity brothers loved me, and would've treated me like I walked on water, and I wish I was old enough then to realize that he would have been golden to me and taken him up on the offer. But I didn't. And it wasn't the first time. I hadn't grown out of being stupid yet. (Have I now?)
Here's another time with bangs. Ah, the 90's. Those were the days. This is one of the few pictures remaining that has my natural hair color. Notice how dark it is. You won't see that again anytime ever. Or those curled-under-with-a-curling-iron bangs. Oh the horror. It's a wonder I ever got a date in college.
Even Daisy is not immune from this fun!
Here's an oldie but goody of Daisy. She was about 4 weeks old here. I picked her out when she was 11 days old, and had to wait a while to bring her home. I did go out to visit her and play with her. Good times. She loved to sunbathe. Still does.
A picture of Daisy with her older brother. She's the one on the left. Her brother was a big old chunk of a puppy. I almost got him, but I really wanted a girl puppy.
If you like this, never fear, for I know where the rest of the old pictures are, and this has inspired me to look at them!
There may be more horrible pictures yet!!
These are so fun! More! More!
ReplyDeleteLoved your very poignant last post about the party.
Calling you later to bring by a goody!!! ; )
