I lost my knife, but I found my sunglasses.

I am beginning to think that I should retitle this blog "but I found my sunglasses." I had a plastic knife for my bagel this morning, but it slid off the car seat as I turned into a parking spot. I reached down to find it (which I never did) and pulled out my sunglasses. The sunglasses that I thought were somewhere else. Huh.

In other news, my guitar teacher, on whom I've had a secret crush, brought a girlfriend to church today. So, as much as I'm a little disappointed that he's got a girlfriend, she treated him very sweetly, so I don't mind it that much.

I went to my Sunday lunch today, and the manager and I had such a lovely conversation. It is so nice to talk to a grown-up guy. Not still in school, not still trying to figure out what to do with life. Not teaching in any way. Just a guy. It's really nice.

And finally, can I tell you what a silly little sense of accomplishment I get from shredding my old documents? I purged my files about a year and a half ago, and I haven't done anything with them but put them in a box, which I moved here and there. I'm finally shredding it. Such a sense of accomplishment.

Oh, and I still haven't found the dvd remote control.
