The sky is falling. Better go to the bathroom.

After my run-in with Hallmark last night, my eyes were particularly puffy this morning.

Okay, rumor has it that we are going to have some wintry precipitation tomorrow. And by rumor has it, I mean that my principal mentioned it to the kids on the announcements. Let me be the first to say THANKS.

Ask me how many times I answered questions about today's and tomorrow's weather. A gamillion and seven. That's how many.

People are being ridiculous about it. Our principal let us go home ten minutes early. In case of bad weather. (Was that ten minutes going to help?)

One of the teachers has to drive about thirty minutes to get home, and I heard her saying "I should go to the bathroom before I go." I thought she was just joking, until she said "Girls, you better go to the bathroom too," to her children. Ridiculous.

Then, Pete Delkus gets on tv and says that this has the potential to be the worst ice storm we've seen in years. Really?!

My meeting tomorrow night has already been cancelled due to the potential for inclement weather. I can't believe this weather-event-that-hasn't-happened-yet is effecting everything. I'm not complaining, though, because now I can watch my favorite Tuesday night shows and don't have to leave the dog with my parents.

I, on the other hand, am secretly hoping for an ice day tomorrow, since I have a deadline, a clean apartment, plenty of food to be cooking and baking, the best parking spot in the complex, and a Shih Tzu to keep me warm.

  1. Hey It's Texas! It'll probably be a nice 85 degrees outside tomorrow with a bunch of kids who've been let out of school running around. That's our area for ya!

  2. And one other thing. I'm highly annoyed that when I post comments on your blog it'll only let me post my Google account w/email and not my blogger google acount.

  4. Someone else had this problem. I'll try to figure it out, since I don't have school today.
