Opr-y calls it multi-tasking

So, busy week ahead, and even busier weekend as a deadline approaches, so the time for cleaning and organizing and such is limited. Tonight is about the only time I'll have to get some stuff done around the house.

Tonight, I've got to get the house in order, and get my Bible study studying done. The Bible study studying takes top priority, so that gets the 6-7 the-house-is-silent time slot, and then some if needed. Since I'm watching the shows live, I don't get to fast forward through the commercials. So, that's when the magic happens. I call it commercial cleaning:

- watch show
- first commercial break: clean bathroom
- watch show
- second commercial break: clean off bar
- watch show
- third commercial break: organize dvd's
- watch show

You get the picture... I'd get a lot more out of my time if I always cleaned this way.

One thing I did this weekend was get a new tv stand. While it's much more fashionable than the old country-style stand, it also has no storage. So now I get to have my dvd's stacked up next to the television stand until I can find a better solution. Instead of having a neat-but-outdated-style stand, I have a fashionable-but-leaves-me-looking-like-white-trash-with-a-stack-of-dvd's-next-to-the-tv stand. And with the business of my schedule, it may be a while before this gets taken care of.

Things that make my world go round:
- Chuck, and whoever the musical director for this show is. Pure genius. This show makes me laugh out loud and go almost immediately to iTunes.
- watching Ando and Hiro on Heroes speak in Japanese so fluently
- apple dump cake. Oh the joy it brings my tastebuds.
- a cameo of the girl from The Cutting Edge on Heroes. Toepick!
- flipping through the channels and stumbling onto my favoritest movie ever, Say Anything, as they are all outside the Gas N' Sip. Fans of the movie know exactly where that is and what was said.
- having an easy fix to the laptop problem this time around...
