I'm doomed. One little slip like that could cause the Great Pumpkin to pass you by. Oh, Great Pumpkin, where are you?

It's good to have the old template back. It's just more...me.
And Good Lord it was just time for some new music. You're welcome.

Yesterday was a much better day in the classroom. KC wasn't feeling well and had a fever, so she didn't come in. And I may have given the children the impression it was due to their behavior the day before. But you can't prove anything and I'll deny it and call you a liar to your face. Nonetheless, they were better, and I could breathe.

I went to the local football games with The Dad last night. Yes, I meant to make it plural. At the first game, we were down two touchdowns only three minutes into the first quarter. And we had just fumbled. Peace out, we're heading to the next game. That one we got to just in time to see the halftime extravaganza. At that particular school, there's some confusion over what people are really there to see: the football players or the band. This is the most dramatic halftime performance I've ever seen, as a re-enactment of a Shakespeare play, and I'd mock it, however, someone would find out and probably try to find me and break my kneecaps. But we both got in free for both, and it was a chilly fall evening, and we had fun.

Today, I'm watching College Game Day, which you know makes my heart happy. I'm fighting the early nap so I can get the apt pulled together and try to make time for crafting. The football game is on tonight, so I can have background football all day and maybe get it all done. I haven't crafted in quite some time, and I think that may be part of what is making me feel a little bonkers as of late. Plus, I've got some great ideas for the December Daily that I need to try to pull together, and I found a new website with just enough snarky inspiration to suit me very well. It's brilliant ya'll, and it makes me so excited!

And yeah, I'll probably write some more September Stories...
