For two days I've been rethinking my calling as a teacher.
I have a red shirt, and I know where everything is in Target.
I have a blue shirt, and I can learn where everything is in Walmart.
This is a tough, tough year. It is exhausting.
Today, one kid in particular pushed every one of my buttons and then came back for more. At the end of the day, he wrote this on KC's board.
She told him she was emailing his parents. "No you're not," he said.
"Yes, I am," she said.
"So. They're not going to do anything about it."
And that right there is why people quit teaching.
Yet, I'll probably get up tomorrow morning and do it again. Einstein says the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. By definition, I am insane.

Then, I surf that one web site and find this picture, which again, I find
freaking
