A semi-charmed kind of life

Of all the days for the interwebs to run away…
Let’s talk about my day.

First, I’ll get over the not-so-charming part of life: KC’s class. At one point, I genuinely thought my head might explode on my neck and grey matter would splatter all across the room, and possibly, the school.
I had to go to a meeting in which one of the stresses of my life as of late decided to be on my side and work for me instead of against me. Then, when KC and I went back to her room, we saw something outside her window:

This is Truffles. He is a pot-bellied pig, and if I could put him in my pocket, I would have.  I love this little pig.Turns out, our 5th grade had them brought in for the Colonial Williamsburg celebration.

I took my kiddos out there to see them too, because my super-fancy wealthy kids don’t get to see pigs and cows much. There was also a horse and a cow.

Then. THEN, was my big moment. School was out and I was about to go see THE Heisman! THE ORIGINAL ONE! Made years ago!
I called my friend when I got to the parking lot, and she said…
“Let me just have my friend unlock the Heisman for you…”
Oh. my. word. The Heisman is my new friend.

In this picture, I’m telling him not to worry, he’s going to a good home with a wonderful boy named Tim Tebow and Mr. Tebow will take very good care of him.

Don’t worry Mr. Heisman. You’re in good hands.
(P.S. DANG this thing is heavy!)

On the way home, windows down, I heard several of my favorite songs, including the title song, plus "Blackwater", "Sultan's of Swing", and "Carry on My Wayward Son."

Don't worry. I also heard "Don't Stop Believing".
