I leave tomorrow for a mission trip to South Texas, on the Mexico Border. I don't think I'll have internet capabilities to post for this trip. This year, the trip has snuk up on me. I'm not as prepared spiritually for this trip. I'll be okay, though. Also, I've been caffiene free for over 48 hours, so I should be good for the drive down there, but just in case, I'll be packing Excedrin. I'm so excited to go.
Here's what I'll be reading:
Don't Waste Your Life by John Piper
Dangerous Wonder by Mike Yaconelli
Here's what I'll be listening to:
Stop All The World Now by Howie Day (still loving that CD)
possibly some Death Cab for Cutie or Jack Johnson. I need the new Jack Johnson CD to play in my classroom, and I just heard a snippet of a DCFC song today and really liked it. We'll see which one strikes my fancy when I get to Target tonight.
My prayer is that this trip is as life-enriching as the last two have been. And that I'll pick up a little bit o Spanish on the trip.
