Yay!

My aunt is coming home today! I've missed her.

I got to cook dinner last night and will tonight too. Tonight is a soccer game, which is premium family time. I'm so blessed to be able to participate in a family, even though I don't have one of my "own". I still get to experience dance recitals, soccer games, family dinners, reading, snuggling up and watching tv, and all of the sweet moments of a family, even though I'm single. It's also preparing me for the time when I do have a family, so maybe I won't be so overwhelmed. I know all the mothers out there are saying "yeah, right".

I was a little disappointed that my principal didn't announce that I was taking the second grade position in the faculty meeting today. I keep thinking that it won't be real and set in stone until he announces it. This just forces me to focus on the present realities of my current job, as much as that thought makes me want to poke my eyes out.
