Rain, Rain, Go Away (at least during the hours of 7-4)

So...wow. We really didn't do so hot on our first rain day out in the portable. I asked Downtown Julie Brown what steps would need to be omitted from the rain dance to make sure that the rain we so desperately need does not come during the hours of school.

I don't know what came over my little princes and princesses. They seem to have forgotten that when water falls from the sky and lands on pavement, the pavement becomes wet, and therefore, slippery. So running AMOK from the building to the portable would surely cause some sort of injury. So, when one particular princess basically slid into home base because of said amok-running, it was very hard for me not to yell "SAFE!" and throw my arms out. I love them, but man...did they wear me out!
