That's what time I got up yesterday morning, on Black Friday. The aunt and I were off in search of a big TV and some fleece. The TV was not to be. Every year, my aunt underestimates the craziness of the general populus when it comes to a good deal. She knew that no one would be in line at Staples or Home Depot (both times she was wrong), and thought for sure that there wasn't going to be too long of a line at Circuit City. She found out once we were in the store that people had begun camping out shortly after their turkey lunch the day before. What amazed us both was the absolute madhouse that was the Bass Pro Shop at 6 am. Madness!
I came home, and slept the morning away. Warmth, comfort, and sheer exhaustion came together for the best two hours of nap ever. And I'm a nap afficianato. I know. It was good. After that, I got busy again and got all of my Christmas Wrappings shopping done, and got my team gifts completed. Because of this busyness during the day and evening, my "day of rest" didn't come until today. See, I don't do well with whole weeks off. I don't do well with vacations in general. All I need is one day. So, since I've been off for going on nine days, I've been very productive. However, I chose today as my one day. I didn't get out of bed until 9:30, which for some is early, but for me is late. I lay around all day watching Florida beat FSU (I'm one happy girl), and then napping the day away. I've read a good bit of my new book, Eragon, which is an exceptionally good book, and should be able to finish it tonight. I've found three good quotes so far, which is unusual from a fiction book, and will write the quotes and the thoughts they provoke at a later time.
So, all in all...today was a good day.
