In Which I Ponder The Miscellaneous-ness Of My Mind

I've got about twenty minutes to kill, and free access to the home computer, which is rare, so I'm thinking all sorts of miscellaneous things, but that's okay, because my life is really pretty miscellaneous.

- Weather.com is projecting a light wintry mix next Wednesday. As much as I love the snow and such, I can't help but think "here we go again..."

- My kiddos have their school performance tonight, and I am nervous for them.

- My brown cords and cable-knit sweater make me happy. It's not necessarily all that pretty, and to be honest, I look like a walking bowl of oatmeal, but the texture and softness is just right.

- I'm fighting a cold, so I have that deeper-than-usual-raspy-in-a-sexy-kind-of-way voice, and no one to use it on.

- Why would I use my time productively, when I could sit and watch an hour of Fox News coverage of Anna Nicole's death.

- A few things that were mentioned on Oprah today really hacked me off. Not that it's anything unusual.

- Grey's Anatomy is creating these episodes that keep getting bigger and bigger...guy accidentally has a bomb inside of him...girl is so toxic that it's making doctors pass out around her...and now a ferry has run aground and is creating mass chaos. I love the show, but they may have to blow up the entire planet to keep up with themselves...of course, I also just remembered that I need to go tiVo it.

- Apparently there's a study that implies that autism is more prevalent than people think. As a former teacher of severely autistic students, I have a lot to think about before I ponitificate about that, but I am glad that the story beat out Anna Nicole Smith on World News Tonight.

Time to go watch my prides and my joys dance and play their little hearts out!
