Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Signs, signs, everywhere signs...
On my route to work, there are two stop signs that I am always almost stopping for. I keep thinking I'm gonna get busted one day. A couple of days ago, I see the sign that says:
"Complete Stops: Free
Rolling Stops: $156.50
Your choice
(Courtesy of Double Oak Police Dept.)"

Thought it was funny. Even funnier: this morning I noticed that one of them had been stolen!

I got a good giggle at the expense of my princes and princesses yesterday afternoon. They have been on this ridiculus folding paper spree as of late, so for our science fair project, I've decided to give them all paper airplanes and we'd see which of three designs flies faster. Incidentally, I've told my teammates that the next time I say that we'll do our science project with paper airplanes, they are to beat me senseless. Senseless.

Nonetheless, I started off the experiment by giving them their super-flying folded planes, and let them go outside and fly the suckers, in the wind. It was sheer joy. The kids were in heaven, as was I watching them.

Until I heard a loud, shrill, scream. I looked up just in time to find...
a group of three of my princesses running frantically in one direction and...

...squirrel running frantically in the other direction.

Not sure which one was more scared!
