Better

Things are a little better. I'm a little more settled.

See, it's Open House Time at the "office." It's such a dog and pony show. Such a dog and pony show. Next year, I may forgo the actual project showcase that this is and just parade Daisy, Elvis, and maybe my one of my princess' ponies through the classroom. (Yes, a couple of my students have their own horses.) It would save me the time and energy. As much as I like my class and coworkers, etc...I've been putting in 11 hour days. It's good for the children that they are only there for 7 of those 11 hours.

But it's over Thursday night, and my children will be brilliant, because this week they've already made me proud. At some moments, don't get me wrong...I've wanted to thump them. But we've had to work very hard this week, and they have totally come through.

We'll see this Thursday night.
