Okay, so it was after 10pm, and I was still in my medieval dress, long after the others had abandoned theirs, and I may have been wearing sunglasses and carrying a power strip. To which I replied "Yeah, but I found my sunglasses!" Which I had lost in March. So I was relatively excited. But still disgruntled. Because I couldn't get the movie to work on my projector.
It was our Quest weekend at church, in which we talked to the fifth and sixth graders about making good choices and remaining pure. With a medieval flair. And swords. God knew what He was doing when he placed me in the 20th/21st century, because it became quite apparent during the weekend that if I'd been alive during the medieval times, I'd have accidentally cut off my own head with a sword. I came pretty close with a duct-taped pvc pipe.
And after you spend the evening jousting and making princess hats and reading and talking, and you put in The Chronicles of Narnia for the kiddos to watch, what do you do? You stay up late and work on web design, of course...and so we put together Miss Scarlett's new site. It's pretty stinkin' awesome...
Here we are, the medieval ladies. Miss Scarlett, the Tiny Dancer, and of course, Rainbow Brite!
Why, yes it is. Thank you. ; )
