You don't believe the story of the Great Pumpkin? I thought little girls always believed everything that was told to them. I thought little girls were innocent and trusting.

I am supposed to be at the (insert local high school football rivalry here) game tonight. I had every intention of going, especially after last night's texting. But, I woke up in the middle of the night with a stuffy nose. This is not unusual.

This morning, however, I woke up with a sore throat. I'll spare you the delicious details of what I know is causing that sore throat. As the day progressed, I started feeling worse. Of course, that could have something to do with the fact that I listened to roughly 437,002 biography book reports, and then we made oobleck for the kindergarteners. Let me repeat that for you: Oobleck and kindergarteners.

I came home and took my temperature repeatedly. At the time I should have left for the game, I took my temperature and it was a whopping 99.5. So, I used that as the excuse I needed to stay in. Of course, my YL director also texted me that he was sick and not going, so I really just needed to take a break. And, I had a couple of projects in mind. One is inspired by the recent joyous news of a friend of mine. I had an inspired thought and may not be able to sleep until I can pull it together.

The other, of course, is the December Daily. I'm still head-over-heels-hold-hands-and-skip-in-the-park in love with my December Daily cover, and now I need to create the insides that will make me swoon with glee. That may have to wait until tomorrow, while I watch Lee and Chris and Kirk and Desmond. I think they may be in Jacksonville. Maybe...

Side note:
At the moment, I am scouring a free digital download site to make a new header for the other blog and just for play. It's a chore, but more importantly, I'm making some disturbing discoveries. Ya'll, did you know there are scrapbook papers designed as tributes to Michael Jackson. Seriously. I could not make that up if I tried.  The alarming amount of seashell-themed pages...the Twilight Bella's Bedroom inspired papers...I totally get those. But MJ? If I find a World of Warcraft inspired set I am giving up the digital scrapbooking world altogether. I'm sure I will be missed...
