Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...somewhere else, somewhere else, somewhere else...

It is snowing right now.
On my birthday.
I am now 33. I'm okay with that because according to my iTouch, I'm in the 25-34 range, so I'm basically about 25.
And I got carded for the beer I had at dinner tonight. It was pretty funny watching the waiter sprain his brain trying to add up just how much older I was than 21.
I am however, showing signs of age, as I just opened up a google browser and can no longer remember (14 seconds later) what I was set out to look up.

Let's talk about my birthday, because certain elements of it have been quite hilarious.
-I slept on my beloved bed last night and slept late. Watched a little psych and community to get my day started.
- Showered and took my time getting ready. Was followed around all morning by a sweet little puppy.
- Got a load of laundry done, and a few miscellaneous tasks taken care of.
- Went to dinner with my parents. This is the highlight of my day, because they spent half the dinner making fun of my sister. Serious mocking and such. It. Was. The. Best.
- We came home and I opened my present. The one thing I asked for: an iTouch. They got me an 8GB which I immediately upgraded to a 32GB. Because we know that I have a zillion songs and an 8GB won't cut it.

While on the mission trip that I promise I will eventually write about, I played with an iPhone and got addicted to a game called unblockme. a.ddic.ted. It's a little embarassing. So, naturally that was the first app I bought. I sound so high tech, don't I? An app. Yeah, I'm awesome.

I'd write more, but my computer got some sort of virus and now I'm having to show it who's boss again...

P.S. My computer is not responding. Apparently, I am not the boss of it, but mark my words, I will take it to our tech gal tomorrow, and she will whip it into shape.

  1. Yes, you, my little guy and the future mother-in-law of my oldest all share the same birthday. Must be a day reserved for incredible people who know me. It sounds like it was a pretty good day, even with the snow.

  2. Happy Birfday! 33 is the new 23. You are SO not old! Proof in point- the waiter was confused....
