The weather has turned beautiful, and Daisy is sitting at the back patio door, which is open. I absolutely love it when she does this. She seems so content, watching the world go by. Just makes me smile.
Saturday, my computer got a nasty virus. This one was very similar to the last one, sending me messages that my computer was doing bad bad things like send all of my passwords to evil people who would take down the world and blame it on me if I didn't run the spy ware program that magically downloaded itself on my computer. Only this time...it had sirens. Seriously. Sirens coming from my computer.
I was allowed to do anything I want on the computer, just with the sirens. Which proved particulary difficult as I have to teach from my computer basically every moment this week, and I do not want to teach with sirens going off.
Yesterday wasn't so So help me, I wanted to throw my computer out the window and blame the dog or some rabbid squirrels or something. I went to the internet and stopped short of going into it's inner parts and
It also prompted me to write this little letter:
Dear SpyEraser,
First and foremost, as God is my witness, you will NOT get the best of me. Yes, you may reduce me to screaming obscenities at the computer as I attempt to dismantle the sound card to avoid the most annoying sirens that you use to attempt to get me to freak out and run your program.
You just wait until my technology person gets ahold of you. You. Just. Wait.
I will not go down without a fight. I will not go down.
XOXO
JO
Just so you know, my tech person had to go into the inner workings of my computer and basically rewind time to make the computer think it was March 12. I'm okay with that. As long as the sirens don't go off.
