The other half is laundry.

Camp is over. I am home and clean, and that is half the battle.

There are two posts to happen here. The fun recap of the wonderful camp we had this week, and the personal, God-stuff I'm dealing with this week. That one's not-so-fun, but it's what I'm dealing with right now.

I'm going to start with the good stuff. I have to do it in bullet form, because we had some great times this week. Lots of laughter, and that's what this girl needs to make it from day to day.

- I got a new Bible for camp. I searched high and low, looking for a small, thin, simple one without any bells and whistles. I got it at Barnes and Noble, and I discovered this week that it is perfect. I'm not sure how I lived without it. Especially when I was given a beautiful new journal to go with it.

- About five of my best friends in the world were at our camp, either with our group or with the students. This made my entire week worth it. Especially when I really needed to be with my friends, and I was able to find them- either across the way with the students, or in the hallway after midnight.

- Quite a few of our leaders this year partook in some 5 hour energy drink. Before we got to the interstate I may have texted one's husband and said she was never allowed to have one again. Ever.

- Learning the soldier dance and watching all of our kids and most of our ministers do it. Over and over. And over.

- Minute to win it. Pantyhose. Baseball. And it's all on video.

- A room to myself. Well, myself, a four year old, and her mother. But a huge section of a room to myself. No having to creep in after midnight lest I wake up any children. And having a shower to myself this week. Words cannot describe it.

- Teaching for the first time to the whole group of kids. Tuesday morning devotional, Thursday morning devotional, and Wednesday night message. Talk about out of my comfort zone.

- Not one, but two kids telling me that they fell asleep while I was teaching. Awesome.

- Wednesday night dinner. Since the whole crew was there between the two camps, we got together and had dinner. And the stand-in for Little Man was pretty special as well. We laughed harder than we do on Wednesday nights.

- Mission Impossible. Food coloring does not come out of... well, anything. And these kid don't have their leaders' backs.

- Things working out well- especially the ones I was nervous about. Having another great week down. I can't believe I've done this eight times now. Wow.
