what I did on my day off...

- I pulled out my suitcase tonight and packed for my camp next week. I know you will never in a zillion years guess what I packed very first? Socks? How’d you know? And, by the way, they've never been worn. They're the ones I left on the bus.

- I went to the dentist this morning, and while I was very happy to get a good report, it came with a price...my dental hygenist. Whenever she's the one that comes back and calls my name for a cleaning, I have to take a deep breath. For, as soon as I sit down, she starts talking about her three daughters. And.doesn't.stop. Thank the Lord that it was only a half an hour appointment. Seriously. I prayed thank you.

- I called the groomer to set up an appointment for Crazy Daisy on Saturday. The groomer tried to remember her breed, and guessed wrong. When I told him the correct breed, he said "Oh dog gone it! I should have known that!" That just tickled me.

- I got my hair done, and while my color was setting, in came the next client. Someone I know. From church. Crazy. I got to visit with her for a good while. Awesome. She told me all about her daughter and how while she was giving birth to her second child the husband was sleeping with another girlfriend in their bed. Seriously! Who shares that?! Who?!

- I saw a couple sitting at a bus stop while I was out driving. I wanted to take their picture and send it in to the people of walmart site. Though I saw them at a bus stop, I was quite certain they had been in the Walmart that day. Quite certain.

- I leave for Camp on Sunday. Hasn't sunk in yet. Maybe the open suitcase on the bed will make it a little more real...
