Summer Swelter

With the craziness of summer, I'm only just now getting around to putting together my summer playlist! Every year, I do three playlists: spring, summer, and fall. Sometimes I even do a winter one. This one is not one of my best, but it's the songs I'm digging right now. I've titled it Summer Swelter because it's so damn hot outside all the time.

1. Waking up in vegas- Katy Perry...I don't usually listen to her music, but the video has Fisher from Bones, and I love love love him, so I had to watch it, and then listen to it, and then love the song.
2. Off I go- Greg Laswell...He is my new Mat Kearney. I love him in special ways.
3. In the colors- Ben Harper...I thought this was Al Green. I've heard this song over and over again, and love it...
4. OK- Holly Conlan
5. Rest Your Eyes- Azure Ray
6. Maybe- Ingrid Michaelson..I'm pretty much a fan of anything this girl does. I want to be her when I grow up.
7. Don’t Let Me Fall- Lenka
8. Closer To Fine- Indigo Girls...and oldie that I've heard and been humming along to lately
9. Her Diamonds- Rob Thomas
10. Use Somebody- Kings of Leon
11. Sometime Around Midnight- The Airborne Toxic Event...this group is super-cool. I may have to turn into a fan pretty soon.
12. Laughing With- Regina Spektor...I'm loving her a lot lately.
13. Runaway Car- Matt Kearney...Must have Mat on the list. I still love you friend.
14. Bruises- Chairlift
15. Coffee Girl- Tragically Hip...this is a Starbucks free download, which I think is ironic due to the title of the song
16. Fireflies- Owl City...this is just a fun little ditty...another free download from Starbucks.
