Guatemala. Another mission trip gone, only this time I am seriously considering going back in November. I can't afford it, but...
Lakes. This month, I went to two: Lake Lewisville and Cedar Creek Lake. I spend hours on a boat on each one. I wish I could spend all of my time like this.
Young Life. Getting geared up for a new semester for some, but a whole new adventure for me. I've never done this before, and I think I may be crazy, but I am fairly sure this is the direction God is pointing me in. I think. Maybe. Um...
Almonds. These are my new obsession. I eat them all the time. I know the health benefits of almonds, and now I am reaping them. I love almonds.
Back to School playlist. I have listened to it on repeat. Repeatedly.
Mutton Bustin'. I went to the North Texas Fair, and saw the rodeo. Mutton bustin is where they let little children ride sheep and see if they can stay on for 6 seconds. You can't spank your child in the Walmart, but you can put them on a farm animal and let them ride around a fenced-in area. Go figure.
I bought a can of cinn. sugar pecans... my new love.
ReplyDeleteoh, and bring your sunscreen, we'll show you some time on Lake Alan Henry.
ReplyDeleteOh, and make me some cd's with some music you think I'll like...
oh, and get the check from your mom...
oh, and ....
Guatemala in November? Sweet...
ReplyDeleteAlthough you may want to rethink that when you hear I'm going back!
