- I came home and turned on "Say Yes To The Dress" while I waited for the news to start. I'd already seen the episode. More than once. Hmm.
- It's freezing in my apartment, but I'm afraid to turn the heater on after yesterday's little phone conversation with the electric company. The heater's electric and we've had some cold weather.
- Sitting down on the couch at the end of the day makes the energy seep out of me. I feel it sliding out of me, and I have to be very careful about letting my head fall back or I'm afraid I will be asleep. At 5:15.
- Daisy just tried to climb up on to the pillows next to me and fell off the couch. She falls like that every couple of days. I still find it freaking hilarious. Every.single.time.
- One thing I did to organize my life was to put a basket by my front door to hold my shoes. Best decision I ever made. I always had most of my shoes strewn around my apartment, and now, they go in the same place, and are contained. Best gift to myself.
- I'm doing a unit on Black History Month next week, and I'm putting it together from scratch. Surprisingly, the district doesn't have me teach this and has few resources for me. There's so much I want to teach my kids, and so little time...This is going to be a good unit. I hope.
- Someone suggested I stop using google as a search engine, and since I've been having trouble with google lately, I probably should. But I google everything...
- Nana Puddin' is coming to my school tomorrow morning, and I am more excited about it that I should be. Way more excited.
