I have had five consecutive days off from school. I am ready to go back to structure. Today was my last of those five days off, so I had some working to do.
So, today, here's how things have rolled up in the wild and precious hood:
- went to dentist. Didn't hurt at all, which is unusual for me.
- finished up some yearbook work that just needed to get done at some point
- figured out how to fix external hard drive issue. Now just need to part with a chunk of change to complete fix.
- on emails all day to solve The Great Valentine's Debacle of 2010. When are we rescheduling the V-day party? It seems everyone had their own ideas and it took no less than a bazillion emails (and as of writing this it's not still one hundered percent figured out).
- got a zillion loads of laundry done (or just two, but sometimes that feels like a zillion).
- like a true mother, gave the dog a huge chewstick treat to get her out of my hair while I cleaned and swept the kitchen.
- multitasked to finish online training for administering the TAKS (my favoritest thing evah.) Did it while I was cleaning the kitchen and ironing.
- figured out how to cram 6 days of instruction into 4 days, including a Valentine's Day party
Now, I'm off to put away said laundry and get ready for YL tonight.
I'm just thankful there's sunshine, and that we get to be back on schedule tomorrow!
