Looks like you're the computer machine whisperer

First of all, I'd like JamieJo to skip this post altogether, because she seems to think that I watch too much television. Whatevs. At some point, I will write a post that will border dissertation on the need for new summer series and how Americans have gotten so bored that they can't be satisfied with summer reruns and so on and so forth.

Just not now, because I've found a new little gem of a television show that I might have to be so in love with I might want to marry it and have little television show babies.

The Good Guys.

To begin with, it's set in Dallas, so they name streets I've actually driven down. He says "Head down McKinney" and I exclaim with glee to my Shih Tzu that doesn't care "Daisy! I've driven down that street!"

And then she gets grumpy because she thought I was giving her a treat.

It stars Bradley Whitford who is hysterical as the stereotypical Texan cop. The accents are attrocious, but the comedy is quite good and the flashback-y way it is set up is delightful. (Flashback-y is too a word.)

I'm just glad it doesn't interfere with Whale Wars. 'Cause then I'd have a real dilemma on my hands.

JamieJo is just bitter because they no longer make cute covers for her ancient iPhone. That has nothing to do with TV. So sue me. :)

  2. Be nice!
And it's more like I'm a little ashamed of the junk I watch... some of them I won't even admit to... but let's just say Bravo has a few reality shows I enjoy.

    :)

  3. John and I weren't sure about "The Good Guys" when we watched the Pilot episode a few weeks ago... but this new episode was really funny. We are huge fans of Bradley Whitford from "The West Wing". We will definitely keep watching :)
