So, we're breaking for Spring here where the wild and precious things are, and this year, that included Daisy. I've decided to document her break as well. Spoiler: just reading this will make you sweepy. Vewy very sweepy.
When I picked her up from the groomer on Friday
and headed out the door, she was SO excited!
and headed out the door, she was SO excited!
That is, until five hours later, when she had to sit in my lap as I drove.
She was positively overjoyed when she got there, jumping straight into her boyfriend's lap and showering him with kisses.
Then, we went to sleep, and she chose the comfiest blanket in the place.
And stayed close to me all night.
She watched some television, and gave her thoughts on the Yellow King's identity...
She chastised Kells Bells for being up so late...
She posed for some selfies...
Supervised the room cleaning process
slept...
made her distaste in being woken up known...
observed comings and goings from her perch up high...
slept some more...
and then some more...
One thing she was none too pleased with
was that OTHER dog. That other dog who thought she
was the Alpha Dog (because she lives there full time or
some other nonsense like that), and always tried to be
higher on the boyfriend than Daisy.
But today, sadly, it was time for her to leave The Dust Bowl and head back home.
She sat on my luggage for a better view.
She fought sleep as much as she could...
When we stopped for a break at the DQ,
she tried to go in and order a blizzard.
Fighting sleep every step of the way...
And then finally, we were home, and she could lapse blissfully into this....
and then some more...
