You're so two-thousand and late...

Let's talk about the year that has gone by, shall we? (This is mostly for my own personal recollection.)

It all started with my new project idea. That went sooo well. I also mentioned that my upstairs neighbors made a smidge too much noise. My beloved Gators showed the Big 12 who's boss. I decided I would like to have a boy just like Tim Tebow. I found my sunglasses. Again. A boy made a reappearance in my life. My BFF gave birth to the love of my life. We inaugurated a new president, and I thought I was the Pioneer Woman. I met the boy, and even wore lipstick. We got a snow day. I ended the month by showing a margarita pie what.is.up.

I went to Lubbock, but stopped on the way there for a speeding ticket. I created a celebrity playlist, in case iTunes ever came a calling. I spent some more quality time with a police officer. I had an apparent secret admirer, and wrote him a letter, but I never figured out who it was. And again, I gave up soda for Lent.

In March, I watched an interesting event unfold with the neighbors. My mom had an interesting idea for me. Turning 32 wasn't all that easy.  I went on a mission trip, but apparently didn't write much about that. I did redo my dining room/work room/ studio

April brought Opening Day and typical Friday nights.  I mused about selling out.

In May, We got hit with a swine flu scare, and got a week off of school. It was awesome. And short lived. I had to take defensive driving, though not happily. I was inappropriately dressed, once again. I went to Lubbock, again. My kids discussed Facebook.

School was finally out for the summer. I discovered a new hairstyle. And ended up rocking it for the summer and beyond. I met my neighbors during a severe weather event. Had a run in with a devil bird. I might have fallen a little bit in luv with my neighbor. Went to a wedding, and rocked a bumpit.

My parents gave me further proof that they are crazy. I met more crazy people. My friend died, and I'm not over it yet. I got to spend the day with the love of my life. I didn't kill my sister, but only because it wasn't an option. Came up with a summer playlist...a little late. I went to camp, and maybe fell in luv a little bit. I got ready for Guatemala and found a cringe-worthy new tv show. I took my girls to get ready for our trip as well.

I started off August by flying out to Guatemala. I thought I could go the whole week without cursing, until I sat next to the guy in 13E. Made another playlist. I tried wakeboarding. Unsuccessfully. School started. If I knew then what I know now.

In September, I finished off with BINGO at the elderlies, had a minor drama at the school, and had a bit of an issue with parents that prompted a letter. Oh yeah...I started this little thing called September Stories. My keyboard went a little haywire. We took Daisy to the park...the ballpark, and I let the kids play with a mysterious substance. And Glee made my world go round.

In October, we battled the swine flu, and I met a boy that turned into The Boy. I mused about some of the lies we believe, and being That Girl. I told the story of the time I met the Green Bay Packers and discovered my allergy to bananas. Someone dared me to put my money where my mouth is, and started work on my December Daily album. We made water filters (which actually just made a mess). I attempted to text with The Boy, which actually just made a mess.

I discovered a new lunch treat in November. I found and fell in love with this group, and thought I might die due to long division. I found a bit of a respite from my frustrating and exasperating work life, toured the Stadium, and petted a pig and the Heisman in the same day. I saw the new Twilight movie with my sister, and had a run in with my dad.

In December, it snowed! Florida lost, and I may have not wanted to talk about it in any way. I went ice skating and didn't fall down.

I've had a lot of adventures this year that I've forgotten about.
Hopefully next year will have many many more!
